Restylane ® and Perlane®
We offer Restylane soft tissue filler. This product is a non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in all living cells that attracts and binds water, hydrating the skin and giving it volume. This is injected just below the skin's surface to temporarily smooth away unwanted lines and wrinkles.



Botox® Cosmetic
Botox®Cosmetic is a purified protein administered in a simple non-surgical procedure that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, along the forehead and around the eyes (crow's feet). Botox® Cosmetic is a quick and minimally invasive treatment. A few tiny injections, and within a week you will see a significant decrease in lines and wrinkles.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a gentle resurfacing technique especially well-suited for defects of the skin such as shallow acne scars, fine lines and improving the overall appearance. The procedure involves a light mechanical sanding of the upper layer of the skin. With microdermabrasion, a new layer of skin replaces the abraded skin during healing, resulting in a smoother appearance.

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical procedure that requires approximately 35 minutes of your time. The new skin that appears is smooth and supple. A slight pink appearance may last for up to 24 hours. It's important for patients to remember to wear a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher to protect the new healthy skin.

Blu-U Light Photodynamic Therapy
Not exclusive to teenagers, many young adults, people in their 20's and 30's, have trouble with acne that is hard to control. The Blu-U treatment - using light without drugs or antibiotics - may be something for you to try. Blu-U Light Photodynamic Therapy was cleared in 2003 by the FDA for the treatment of moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris. The Blu-U is a very special blue light that can kill the p. acnes bacteria in your skin. Treatments are simple - you simply sit with your face close to the blue light for a short time at a schedule set up by Dr. Ross, usually a 15-minute session once or twice a week. The treatments may go on for four to five weeks. It's very safe, it's not hot, it's not painful at all. After some weeks the blue light can control your acne, or clear it up for a very long period of time.

Laser Hair Removal
We are proud to use the GentleLase from Candela, which has been voted the "best hair removal laser" on the market. It's the fastest laser on the market, has the largest spot size and incredible results in just a few sessions. And all with less pain due to Candela's DCD, Dynamic Cooling Device, which momentarily delivers a cool burst of cryogen to protect the skin and lessen the sensation. The GentleLase is also used for photofacials to help treat hyperpigmentation due to past sun damage. We have been getting great results with our trial patient treatments and invite you to try it out! We can also treat freckles and melasma.

We use the Iridex Diolite 532 laser to treat the following skin conditions: telangiectasia, rosacea and small hemangiomas. Using a pencil-thin hand piece, the laser directs an intense beam of light to bring energy to a specific site, causing destruction by heat to unwanted cells, while leaving healthy cells intact. Slight discomfort varies between patients and sites; however, a topical anesthetic is applied prior to treatment to ease pain. Side effects and post-operative care are minimal, leaving you to resume to normal activities immediately.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peeling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. A chemical solution is applied to the skin, which causes it to separate, peel off, and allows new skin to regenerate. The new skin is smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin, and may also be more even in color. We offer a variety of superficial peels. During your consultation, Dr. Ross or our aesthetician will determine which peel best suits your cosmetic needs.

We are pleased to offer the NeoStrata Skin Rejuvenation System in 5 strengths, the Vivité 70% glycolic facial peel system, and three advanced peels from GLO Professional, including a TCA blend and a TCA 15% peel.
